Cuttack: India vs Sri Lanka Live Score Update: India has won the 3rd ODI against Sri Lanka by 7 wickets which was being played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack. With this victory India takes lead by one point in the 5 match series.
Earlier in the day Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. But being it a batsman wicket the Lankan could not score much and their innings ended up with 239. From the srilankans team it was Thangara to make the highest score of 73.
No doubt the Indian bowlers bowled extremely well and draw an end to the Lankan innings, when there are still 5 overs to be bowled. Jadeja did a tremendous job with the ball in hand and took 4 wickets for just 32 runs.
While, Ishant Sharma and Nehra contributed 2 each with Harbhajan and Sehwag each managed to take one wicket.
India started its innings with Sehwag and Tendulkar, who opened well and contributed 55 till the 7th over. Sehwag made an quick 44 (which includes nine 4s) of just 28 bowls but was caught by Dilshan at the over of Welegedara.
After his wickets Sri Lanka got two successes by dismissing Gambhir and Yuvraj. But all the Lankan effort was in vain and India finally wins the match.
